What is the "Yoga Training for Volleyball Players" Program?

Yoga Training for Volleyball Players is a 10-Week Yoga-Training Program, built for the Volleyball Player who wants to:

  • Build resilience against injury
  • Speed the time it takes to recover
  • Enhance performance on and off the court. 

All in less than 30 minutes a day!

The Yoga Training for Volleyball Players Program teaches Volleyball Players how to move better so that they can enjoy the game longer!

**This is a program that requires personal initiative and self accountability, so it is best suited for players ages 13 and up.


Why do Volleyball Players need Yoga Training?

Most Volleyball Players have access to Strength and Skill Programs, but they lack the resources for Injury Prevention and Recovery.

Yoga Training fills this gap. Yoga Training is a way for Volleyball Players to address imbalances in the body, relieve muscle tightness, increase range of motion, and drastically improve physical and emotional stability.

The Yoga Training for Volleyball Players Program teaches Volleyball Players how to train for longevity.

It gives them lifelong tools that they can use BEFORE having to wrap every joint in ice and BEFORE having to lather their entire body in muscle rubs.


How does Yoga Training translate to on-court performance?

The Yoga Training for Volleyball Players Program is broken into 3 Parts: Mobility, Stability and Flow.

Every single skill within this sport requires an adequate range of motion in order to be able to perform it.

The Mobility portion of this program will give you the tools to increase flexibility AND build strength, so that you can expand your USABLE range of motion across every joint. START digging more balls outside your body!

Every single skill within this sport requires one moment of control in order to be able to execute it.

The Stability portion of this program will teach you how to “own every degree of motion”. You will learn how to activate, engage and train your true stabilizer muscles so that you can better protect yourself from injury and develop greater overall body control. START winning more jousts!

Every single skill within this sport requires the mind-body connection in order to be able to repeat it.

The Flow portion of this program fosters a strong mind-body connection by showing you how to connect breath and movement. It will guide you through fluid sequences that will allow you to establish your own rhythm and flow. START performing under pressure!

What to expect from the "Yoga Training for Volleyball Players" Program:

You can expect to have a consistent and effective routine that will:

  • Expand your range of motion (static stretching isn’t going to cut it)
  • Build true and useful stability (say goodbye to crunches forever)
  • Drastically improve your resilience, recovery, performance and overall athleticism by establishing an ever-growing mind-body connection

  • You don't need to carve out the entire day for this! Every class is between 10 and 30 minutes and is meant to be done in conjunction with what you already do! Add these sessions pre or post practice!

When does the Program start?

The Program starts whenever it's the right time for you! Maybe that's off-season, maybe it's pre-season, or maybe it's just when you're feeling inspired to get better. Whenever you decide, know that I will be with you every step of the way. I will be checking in with you on a weekly basis to help keep you accountable and on-track.


Who's teaching the Program?



Hey Volleyball Player! I am so happy you're here! My name is Cora Jackson (Kellerman). I am an RYT, a Certified Animal Flow Instructor, a Certified FRC Mobility Specialist, a coach with over a decade of experience and the founder of Move Together Yoga!

Prior to founding Move Together Yoga I dedicated more than 20 years of my life to athletics - I was a full-scholarship two-sport D1 athlete (Indoor Volleyball and Track & Field). I received All-Conference accolades in Volleyball and was ranked amongst the Top 10 in NCAA for Women's Javelin. After graduating with honors with a degree in Electrical Engineering, I kept the pedal to the metal! I spent 6 years (and counting!) at an Engineering Firm, while simultaneously going on to play professional level Beach Volleyball.

Eventually I took a step back from the full-time competition and engineering to go deeper into my love of COACHING!

Throughout my playing career I had great coaches and a lot of access to Strength and Conditioning Programs, but the piece that was always lacking for me was RECOVERY.
